Loving this quote. George Lucas on an artist’s inherent need for control:

can’t do this—no you can’t do that—I think it’d be better to do this.’ And not to say that an artist is a special person, but an artist is a person who has a vision for something that is a very personal vision. And to have outsiders come in and criticize it before it’s finished and say ‘I think it would be better if it was green—I think it’d be better if it was blue—I think it’d be better if it was taller…’ As an artist, that’s just counter to what you do.”
