United’s Identity Crisis.

So I’m griping about Continental-United’s merged brand identity at the airport. Identity CRISIS, that is. What a visual mess. Why they would retain Continental’s gross serif typeface and fugly, archaic globe icon is beyond me. And what a lousy, disjointed, disastrous terminal-hopping consumer experience overall. They should hire me to be a consultant so we can ditch all of Continental’s toxic brand equity and make this right again. *Apologies to anyone outside of advertising who doesn’t give a crap about my nerdy rants, ha. With a little care and good design, we can make even mundane things in this world simple and beautiful. Or just fly JetBlue ;)
